This is awesome, I like Steve Morse!
Heyy thank you very much fkalich!!! I´m so glad to read this post! I hope not to disappoint you!! Thanks a lot!!
You are one of the main reasons I rejoined GMC again. I will say it again. I had listened to your play and thought "damn, that guy is so good, amazingly so". But I wondered if that was just my taste. But then I looked at your bio and see this has also been widely recognized in Argentina. Anyway, thanks.
I like it, well done Lucio
yess Kris Steve is one of my favourite guitar players too!! thanks!!! thank you guys!!
great cover of an awesome player, I love it!
Wow, what a great solo! Cool lesson, man!
very cool piece, great job!
Sounds awesome lucio! Looks like more of a 6-7 difficulty though, but maybe I'm way wrong!
incredible lucio!
Great solo Lucio! Morse is a great player and you have covered his style very well!
Great lesson! I attended one of his clinics and it was a great experience! You captured the style well!
Awesome coverage. Steve is definitely one of my favorite guitarists, I love the aggressive 16th notes and chromaticism, very cool Lucio!
Hi GMC!! Today we´ll have a lesson inspired on the great Steve Morse!
This guitar player is amazing! The way he uses chromatic phrases, the swing and the arpeggios is awesome!
This lesson is inspired on the Deep Purple side of Steve. It starts in the pentatonic minor of D, you must pay attention to the swing in this licks. The fast part is the chromatic lick; you should practice it slowly.
Then come the arpeggio part. The chords are:
Bb - Am - Dm - C - Bb - F - C - %
Bb - Am - Dm - C - Bb - F - C - % - A7 - %
This part’s got a melodic line in the higher notes. These notes must sound more strong and clean that the others.
And if you like Deep Purple, I have a tribute band too. It’s called Perpendicular, you can listen us here: www.myspace.com/perpendiculartributo .
Have fun!!!
