super lecon! ca casse les automatismes . J utilisai beaucoup les quartaux mais plus en voicing. ca sonne de folie en chorus. A quand une lecon sur les memes bases harmoniques en appliquant le lick de pat metheny? merci en tous cas stephane !!!
Stephane, Beautiful stuff. Can I get the quartal harmony lessons in standard musical notation? ( and all the Scofield stuff really). This is really important stuff and it is going to take me forever to transcribe from tab.
thanks, john

Nice jazzy sound Stephane! Très Bien
Hi GMC!
In the previous lesson on quartal harmony (Dorian Mode) we've worked on the voicings/accompaniment.
Now it's time to use these shapes for improvisation and to create some nice modern
sounding arpeggios.
The fingerings of quartal voicings are not the easiest, so work slow at first until you get all the notes clear and clean.
I hope this lesson will inspire you to find your own musical ideas and do not hesitate if you have any question!
Good luck :)
Stephane
