Hi Guys,
A new video of my series "The Modes".
This time we'll take a look at C Melodic Minor.
Because there is a lot of confusion what the 7 Modes basically are I gonna explain this in detail with 7 corresponding licks.
These cool modes are often used by modern Fusion players.
This lesson will help you to understand the theory behind this and will also improve your soloing.
The structure of the Jam track:
I. C Melodic Minor 0:00-0:13
| Cm7 | % |
II. D Dorian b2 0:14-0:27
| Dm7 | % |
III. Eb Lydian #5 0:28-0:41
| Eb+Maj7 | % |
IV. F Mixolydian #4 0:42-0:55
| F7 | % |
V. G Mixolydian b6 0:56-1:09
| G7 | % |
VI. A Aeolian b5 1:10-1:23
| Amb57 | % |
VII. B Super Locrian (altered) 1:24-1:37
| B7#9 | % | Em7 |
Have fun! ;-)
