If I had to pick a play to represent myself I'd definitely choose "Waiting for Godot"... Something similar goes on here....the difference is just that something happens all the time here so what i am waiting for is actually a bit of time to practice -> same as Godot -> it's just not coming! EDIT: hate typos! I do paid work 1 day a week supervising and examining PhD students and undertaking and publishing my own research as articles in academic journals and as books. I also do unpaid work copy-editing and technical editing for a number of academic journals and publishers.
Non-academic stuff - I run a small recording studio focused on recording, re-recording and mixing (I don't tend to Master) and also assist my wife when she needs audio/recording engineering on her media projects. (Her non academic work is media training and PR.) Some stuff I've done in the past - senior management consultant for a big international consultancy; various middle and senior management roles in different organisations; analytical chemist/lab manager specialising in identification and quantification of ultra low level trace pesticides by MS; session musician; roadie; various roles in recording studios; bar/pub work. -------------------- Get your music professionally mastered by anl AES registered Mastering Engineer.
